It's not a traditional love story but for one couple in Western New York it's just right. It's a relationship that's come full circle.

It's unusual to see someone preparing for their own wedding at an apartment complex for the elderly.

"Run, run, run. That's what it's been, running mostly everyday," the bride Lena Henderson said.

Saturday the 85-year-old widow will be married by her pastor in Buffalo.

"We're the oldest couple that he's married in our church," Henderson said. "He says that he's very excited."

Roland Davis lost his own wife six months ago.

With a push from his daughter, Davis called up Henderson and proposed.

He said he wasn't nervous. "I'm too old to be nervous," he said.

Maybe it was easier the second time around for the 85-year-old from Colorado Springs.

"We've always been in love," Davis said.

He and Henderson got married once before when they were teenagers. They had five children. But they divorced 48-years-ago.

"We were young when we married and I don't think he was really ready to be a married man," Henderson said.

The couple stayed in touch, even as they both remarried.

"When we divorced we were still friends and we're still friends," Henderson said.

"She never said a bad word about him," daughter Renita Shadwick said. "He never spoke anything but kind and loving remarks about her."

Of course some things will be different when they tie the knot this time around.

Their children will be there for one. In fact there will be five generations of the family at the wedding.

Plus, this time they're getting married in a church.

"This is the last go around for us," Henderson said. "We won't be able to do it again. So it's important for me to be in my church."
