JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Infinity Performing Arts Program in will be holding its annual Spring Showcase this Saturday at the Reg Lenna Civic Center in Jamestown.

Infinity Performing Arts is a program where professionals teach school aged kids various performance art forms, everything from drama club to a fully functioning rock band.

The program started in 1998 with seven kids and now has about a thousand participating. The students start practicing in October to be ready to perform by May.

"The Showcase gives the kids a chance to show the community what they have been working on all throughout the year, and it shows the community that we've got young people doing positive and creative things with their time here in the community as well," said Stephanie Rogers, site coordinator.

The show starts at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. You can catch other performances by Infinity Groups this summer at the Chautauqua Institution Jazz Day as well as at Lucy Fest in Jamestown.
