ROCHESTER, N.Y. -- High demand for the U.S. women's soccer game against Costa Rica in Western New York next month is making it difficult to get tickets. Tickets were supposed to go on sale Friday, but those sales were put on hold while plans to expand the seating capacity at Rochester's Sahlen's Stadium are explored.
Some tickets have already been issued to sponsors of USA Soccer. In fact, 11,000 tickets have already been sold. There is no word yet as to when tickets will go on sale to the general public. This will be a homecoming for Rochester native, Abby Wambach, after winning a gold medal in London.
