Shoppers look for deals at World’s Largest Yard Sale
HAMBURG, N.Y. - Thousands of shoppers looking for bargain buys headed to the Erie County Fairgrounds in Hamburg Saturday for the World's Largest Yard Sale.
The one-day event held its 13th annual yard sale with something for everyone.
Close to 300 venders set up shop and sold items ranging from hand-made crafts to collectibles and antiques.
Event manager Karen Konecko said the event is a fun way to find a good deal and get some guaranteed cash in your pocket.
"If you do a yard sale at home, you sit at home in your garage or out on your lawn and you kind of hope people will drive down your street and maybe stop and maybe buy something. But here, we guarantee shoppers," said Konecko.
In case you missed the World's Largest Yard Sale Saturday, the event takes place again in May.
