DUNKIRK, N.Y. — Funeral services were held Monday for a man killed in a car accident in Silver Creek.

Jeremy Long, 22, died in the one car accident November 8.

Friends and family filed into the McGraw-Kowal Funeral Home in Dunkirk for the final chance to pay their respects.

Long was a 2008 graduate of Silver Creek High School and was employed at Aunt Millie's Family Restaurant and Bakery in Irving.

Police say Long was a passenger in a car driven by 22-year-old Jeremiah Burgess. Police say he left the scene of the accident and then turned himself into Chautauqua County District Attorney's office the following day. Charges are pending.
