JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The Chautauqua County Sheriff's Department says high winds caused a number of power outages Thursday evening knocking down power lines and tree limbs all across Chautauqua County.
The Chautauqua County Airport completely lost power causing some flights to be delayed.
Moon Road in the Town of Ellicott was closed while National Grid crews repaired the lines.
