NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — The Riviera Theatre in North Tonawanda played host Friday evening to one of the world's most famous animal enthusiasts, who came with some of his favorite creatures.

Hundreds came out to see Jack Hanna and the several animals that came with him, including a lynx, a penguin and even a cheetah.

The performance also included several videos of Hanna's recent adventures in Africa. The wildlife lover's mission is to teach methods of conservation to the world.

"It's important because obviously what happens in the animal world will eventually happen in the people world. So it's a thing where you want them to understand conservation in a fun way, but also leave here understanding they learned something," said Hanna.

Hanna signed autographs and took pictures with his fans during a session before the show.
