State Police to Recruit More Troopers
It's expected to be a busy year for New York State Police as they're planning to add 330 recruits in 2013.

Last year, State Police graduated Its first class since 2009, when 133 graduated from the academy.

Once this year's class graduates, that would bring the total number of state troopers to 4,657, which is up five percent from this current fiscal year but down 200 from its peak.

Governor Cuomo's budget plan calls for $732 million for New York State Police.
