GM Foundation donates to Tonawanda community programs
TONAWANDA, N.Y. — The General Motors Foundation is donating $60,000 to six Tonawanda programs to help local families.
Checks were presented Friday to United Way of Buffalo and Erie County, the American Cancer Society, the American Heart Association, the Boys and Girls Club of the Northtowns, the Buffalo Urban League and the Family Help Center.
GM leaders say the grants are a great way to help the community outside of what employees can do during volunteer opportunities.
