Grow operation uncovered in Orleans County
CLARENDON, N.Y. — A father, mother and a son face criminal possession charges after authorities say they housed a sophisticated grow operation in Orleans County.
David Thomas Costrino, 51; Marcia June Costrino, 64; and Austin Grant Costrino, 27, were arrested Friday after State Police and the Orleans County Major Crimes Task Force found marijuana growing in the basement of their home in Clarendon.
While executing a search warrant, troopers found plants being dried, weighed and packaged for sale in the second floor of the home.
Troopers also seized a large amount of recently harvested marijuana, two long guns and a 380-caliber handgun.
