Count Rabbit Day in Buffalo
BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two years ago, the City of Buffalo declared February 18th Count Rabbit Day; all to honor musician Robert Robinson Senior, also known as Count Rabbit, as part of Black History Month.
Sadly, Count Rabbit passed away the day after the proclamation ceremony.
He was a local blues legend in Buffalo back in the 1950s with hits like "Why Did You Go" in 1959.
He was also inducted to Buffalo Music Hall of Fame in 1996.
