Connect a Million Minds Program Recognized on House Floor
Time Warner Cable, the parent company of YNN, was recognized on the floor of the House of Representatives by Representative Tom Reed for its Connect A Million Minds initiative.
The initiative is designed to inspire children to pursue science, technology, engineering, and math opportunities outside the classroom.
Time Warner Cable has given grants to non-profit organizations that introduce students to STEM, and has employees volunteer at local Connect a Million Minds events, science fairs and robotics competitions across the country.
Reed says the program helps America's youth compete with their peers on the global level.
