BUFFALO, N.Y. — Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center has announced a special musical guest for its 60th annual fundraising gala.
The Grass Roots will perform at the event on March 9, and alongside the 60s band, the "black tie-dye gala" will include silent and live auctions.
All of the proceeds go towards a therapeutic sensory room for children in the Buffalo Hearing and Speech Center's autism program.
"Programs like this that we couldn't pay for out of operations come from the support of the community at events like the Buffalo Brew Fest, and our golf tournament, and this being our premier event of the year, the gala," said Joseph Cozzo, President and CEO of BHSC.
The fundraising goal this year is more than $100,000.
