UK newspaper ranks Buffalo's English Pork Pie Company as world's best

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A local company has been recognized as "world's best" when it comes to British products.
According to a UK newspaper, the English Pork Pie Company makes the best British products, right from a shop on South Park Avenue.
Since Victoria Parker and her husband Damien started making their pies in 2008,
they have been crowned 'The world's best British shop' by the UK's Telegraph newspaper twice in three years.
The company ships across the nation to the Harry Potter theme park at Universal Studios and celebrity chef Gordon Ramsey, among others, and they're happy to call Buffalo home.
"The people have been really supportive in Buffalo and once they find out, they like to come down and try it to try something different. Generally, they love it," said Parker.
The English Pork Pie Company says it hopes to get its products in local supermarkets soon
