BUFFALO, N.Y. — Hundreds of Democrats from Western New York will be traveling to Washington D.C. on Monday for the inauguration of President Barack Obama to a second term in office.

Congressman Brian Higgins and Erie County Democratic Party Chairman Jeremy Zellner are among those attending. Zellner says optimism at this year's ceremony will be more scaled back than the inauguration four years ago.

"I think people are going to be optimistic but it'll be scaled back a little bit. We're still in a recession, we're moving in the right direction but I think people are just not ready to really celebrate too much. But it'll be exciting and it'll be fun", said Zellner.

YNN will be covering the Inauguration live beginning at 10:30 a.m. Monday.
