Buffalo Bills Progress

Buffalo Bills Progress
The summertime sure flies by. In a little less than a month from now we'll be talking Bills training camp.

It's the third year under head coach Chan Gailey, with major expectations for improvement from a club that holds the NFL's longest current playoff drought at 12 seasons. The Bills were a dismal 4-12 in Gailey's first year, then had the great start last season before limping to a 6-10 finish.

Gailey sees progress with his team from his first days in Orchard Park, but says now is the time to make the big leap to becoming a contender.

"We have come a long way. We do not have any kind of record to show that. That is our objective this year to show that. I do believe we have come a long way as a football team going into our third year. But you have to go prove it. You cannot talk [about it]. You have to go prove it," said Gailey.

The Bills open training camp July 26th at St. John Fisher.
