Bisons slugger Valentino Pascucci hit three homers in the first round and advanced.
In the second round, Pascucci put on a show for the fans with 13 dingers, including a few more monster shots out of the park to advance to the championship round.
Going head-to-head with Dan Johnson of the Charlotte Knights for the win, the hometown favorite Pascucci won it with six in the finals and 22 total, to be named the 2012 AAA Home Run Derby champion.
"It was great," Pascucci said. "I got a great ovation when I first went out there and it's always fun when you represent the home team and have the fans on your side. It was great. In that second round I got in the groove and it started getting louder and louder when I was hitting them. It was a blast for me out on the field."
The AAA All-Star Game at Coca-Cola Field is Wednesday.
