The UB Bulls have two more weeks to cram for one tough test to open the college football season and Saturday we found out who their starting quarterback will for that exam September 1st at Georgia. Head Coach Jeff Quinn announced Alex Zordich will get the start under center.

"He is a guy who can operate all facets of our offense. They both can, but I really feel that Alex has a slight edge in controlling the offense and getting us in the right play." said Head Coach Jeff Quinn

The junior was battling with Williamsville South product red-shirt freshman Joe Licata who will be the backup QB. Zordich certainly has the edge in experience.... he started four games as a true freshman in 2010 before an injury ended his season, then was the 2nd stringer last year.

"Definitely excited and ready to play, we're all ready to play. It is good to get everything squared away and everybody on the same page about where we are at. Me, Joe, and all the other quarterbacks are working hard and we are comfortable and excited to have as many good quarterbacks as we do." said Quarterback Alex Zordich
