Inconsistent Offense

Inconsistent Offense
The Bills were busy on their off day before getting ready to face New England this weekend. Buffalo added wide receiver Marcus Easley to the 53 man roster. Meanwhile, kicker John Potter was released. Defensive back Terrence McGee and offensive lineman Erik Pears were both placed on injured reserve.

The Bills are at the halfway point of their season and own a 3-5 record following Sunday's 21-9 loss at the Houston Texans. Inconsistency continues to plague the Bills. They're a top 10 rushing team, but sit in the bottom 10 of the league for passing. Buffalo was able to move the ball against a solid Houston defense, but failed to score a touchdown.

"You go out and you try to create consistency with your offense," said Bills head coach Chan Gailey. "I wish we could have run it more the other day. It was one of those situations where we thought it was best to throw the football. It did not work."
