As the state playoffs continue in high school football this weekend, Orchard Park is in a familiar spot.

The defending AA state champs will take on Christian Brothers Academy of Syracuse in the state semifinals. That game is slated for 6 p.m. Saturday from Sahlen's Stadium in Rochester, which you can see live on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel.

It's never easy to repeat getting back to this point, but a win would mean a return trip to the Carrier Dome.

"They've done an amazing job. To be back where we are right now after graduating 80 percent of our starters, is a feat. It's enjoyable every step of the way," said head coach Gene Tundo.

"A lot of teams are not used to the big crowds, to the emotions, to the atmosphere in total. We're a team that thrives in that kind of atmosphere so. It's fun being back here - we're going to be ready," said running back Mitch Wilson.

"It would mean the world. Especially to my class, since we only have lost one game our whole career playing for Orchard Park, it would just mean the whole world," said quarterback Ben Holmes.
