By: YNN Staff

The Bills could be out of the running for the services of Chip Kelly.

The NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Friday afternoon that the Oregon head coach is close to closing a deal to become the new head coach of the Cleveland Browns.

Kelly reportedly had meetings set up with the Browns, Bills and Eagles following the Ducks Fiesta Bowl win Thursday night.

The Bills also reportedly have interviews with Denver offensive coordinator Mike McCoy and former Bears coach Lovie Smith this weekend.

First reported by the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Bills had a meeting set with Doug Marrone out in Arizona.

The Syracuse head coach was was already interviewed by the Browns earlier this week. Marrone has an NFL background, but has been the head coach of the Orange for the last four years going 25-25 with two bowl wins.
