Four taken to hospital after crash

BUFFALO, N.Y. — A sixteen year old was taken to ECMC with serious injuries following an accident at the intersection of Walden and Bailey avenues Thursday afternoon.

Witnesses say a car was going eastbound on Walden Avenue when it crossed the double line and hit a power pole.

Rural Metro says a nearby pedestrian – a sixteen year old boy – was taken to ECMC with serious injuries, along with a 56-year-old woman.

Two other women were also taken to the hospital. No word yet on their conditions.

Police are investigating.
