Bills Select OL Cordy Glenn, WR T.J. Graham
The Buffalo Bills have picked Cordy Glenn, an offensive lineman from the University of Georgia, in the second round of the NFL Draft.

With the third round pick, the Bills traded up and selected T.J. Graham, a wide reciever from North Carolina State.

Glenn is 6'5" and 345 pounds. He joins an offensive line that lost Demetrius Bell in the offseason.

Glenn, who was expected to be a first round pick, was taken at #41 overall. Bills great Phil Hansen announced the pick.

The Bills used their first round pick on Stephon Gilmore, a cornerback from South Carolina.

On his reaction to being picked by the Bills:
I am happy. One I get to play left tackle and two Buffalo is one of my favorite teams. I am just happy I get to play football. I know where I am playing at now. It is a big relief.

On why he is excited to play for the Bills:
The coach. I like the coaching staff. I like the offensive line coach (Joe D’Alessandris). I like the way he coaches, so (Buffalo) was definitely a big favorite of mine.

On having to wait until the second round to be drafted:
I wish I could have got off early but I am just happy to be picked right now. It is a big honor.

On his development as a left tackle:
I would just say that I came out to a slower start. And then I got better as the season went on as I got more comfortable out there. I still do not think I have played my best game out there.

On if he was afraid of being drafted by a team who did not view him as a tackle:
I think with my athletic ability it would be hard for a team to pass that up.

On how pleased he is that the Bills view him as a left tackle:
I am extremely pleased and ready to start just focusing on football again. Get off of this process that is finally over. I am excited about it.

On if the Bills told him during meetings that they viewed him as a left tackle:
They thought I could play tackle but I am just going to go in there and try out the vibe. I’ll help out at whatever position they need me to play, honestly.

On the Bills having a need at left tackle:
It is (exciting). That is the whole point. I am excited to go out there and play. I am ready for it.

On if he was at home:
Yeah, I am at home.

On if he felt that he might be drafted earlier:
Yeah, I did actually. But things happen for a reason. I am just happy to be with the Bills.

On if it was a big disappointment he was not drafted earlier:
I would not say that. I am pretty happy with the team I got picked by.

On his reaction when the phone rang and it was the Bills:
Extremely happy. I talked to Chan (Gailey) first. I talked to Buddy (Nix). Very happy. Probably the happiest moment of my life.

On what he brings to the table aside from his size:
Beside my size: versatility, quickness, strength power, everything the whole nine.

On his reaction to being picked by the Bills:
I’m very excited. It’s something I worked for my whole life. I’m just going to enjoy the opportunity I have now with the Buffalo Bills.

On if he expected to be selected in the third round:
I spoke with some people and they suggested that this was the earliest I would go. You expect the worst in this situation, so getting the best that they told me is a pretty good thing. I am pretty excited about it.

On how much contact he had with the Bills prior to the draft:
I had a couple of meetings with them and talked with them a couple of times. It was a destination that I saw myself going to. I am really going to enjoy it.

On if he felt good about his meetings with the Bills:
Yes, I felt really good. The meetings went well, meeting the coaching staff and Coach Gailey.

On if he considers himself a slot receiver or an outside receiver:
Anywhere I can play. It does not really matter to me; anywhere I can get onto the field and contribute to the success of the offense.

On where he lined up at North Carolina State:
Outside or inside. It depended on the defensive match-up for that week.

On his experience returning kicks and punts:
I did both all four years in college. I finished my career as the career all-time leader in ACC for kickoff return yards. This past year I led the ACC in punt return yards. I have had success on both. There were years I was better here and there.

On having returned two punts and two kickoffs for touchdowns throughout his collegiate career:
Yeah. I wish I had more though.

On if he will be able to stretch the field at the NFL level:
My speed has translated to the track and I use that to run and excel in there. On the field, I can definitely stretch the field and make the defense have to play the full field instead of the short field.
