BUFFALO, N.Y. - Three bands have already been announced for this year's Buffalo Place Summer Concert Series, and Thursday, the rest of the groups were revealed for this season's line-up.
All concerts for Thursday at the Harbor, formerly known as Thursday's at the Square, will be at the Central Wharf this summer beginning June 7. Some big names set to perform at Thursday's are The Cult, Salt-N-Pepa, and The Mighty Mighty Bosstones.
Six concert nights will be dedicated to Rocks the Harbor and include The J. Geils Band and LL Cool J to end the summer.
"That's at least 18 nights of music; that's over 30 national acts, Grammy and Juno award winners with literally dozens of awards between them; millions for downtown businesses; and most importantly, tens of thousands of people visiting our fair downtown every single week," said Anthony Colucci, the president of Buffalo Place.
Tickets for some of the concerts are on sale now. Thursday at the Harbor concerts are free.
