JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — More than a hundred people filled the steps of Jamestown City Hall Wednesday afternoon to help Mayor Sam Teresi film a promotional video.
The three-minute video about Jamestown has the mayor showing off local attractions that will be featured in the upcoming Universal Studio's Fireball Run Series.
Forty teams will compete in a game show that takes them across the northeast making stops in small, undiscovered cities, including Jamestown.
Producers expect over 40 million people around the world to watch the show.
"I don't even know if you can measure accurately the economic impact this could have on the community as far as the number of places that actually get to see and the number of people that see it," said Lee Harkness, Downtown Jamestown Development Corporation.
Fireball Run will make its way through Jamestown on September 22nd and 23rd.
The Mayor's video will eventually be on the Fireball Run website.
