Father and Son Injured in Motorcycle Crash
BUFFALO, N.Y. - Buffalo police have also released the name of a motorcyclist who was seriously injured Saturday night.

Police say 48-year-old Merrill McCloskey of Buffalo was driving a motorcycle that collided with an SUV at the intersection of Niagara Street and Potomac Avenue about 9:40 p.m.

McCloskey remains in critical condition in ECMC's trauma ICU. His 8-year-old son, who was a passenger on the motorcycle, was treated at Women's and Children's for minor injuries.

None of the eight passengers in the SUV were hurt.

Police say it appears the SUV turned in front of the motorcycle, causing the crash. According to police, the investigation continues, and they say charges are pending.
