Construction company damaged in fire
CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. - Several fire crews were busy Friday evening battling flames at a two-alarm structure fire in Cheektowaga.
Around 6:30 p.m., crews responded to the fire at a commercial business on Ellicott Road.
Fire officials said upon arrival, the east side of the business, Crist Construction, was fully involved with flames.
"You pretty much couldn't see anything across the driveway except for this van behind me, said Assistant Chief Tom Brennan with the Forks Fire Department. “It was a hot fire."
The cause of the fire is under investigation. No injuries were reported.
