Officer Martin Motley III was questioned by police after he was seen leaving the Lake View house of Dr. Timothy Jorden on June 13th.

This was just hours after Jorden became the subject of a manhunt following the shooting at ECMC that killed Jackie Wisniewski, Jorden's estranged girlfriend.

On the day of the shooting, Motley was seen coming out of Jorden's home carrying cash, an expensive watch, and a gun. Motley had "injured on duty" status at the time and wasn't performing any police work.

Motley and Jorden were old friends, and Motley, through his attorney, said he went to the house to check up on Jorden after he heard about the manhunt and was concerned.

Jorden was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the house in Lakeview two days later.

Police never charged Motley with a crime, but did suspend him for four days following the incident.
