PITTSFORD, N.Y. — Bills fans arrived at St. John Fisher College Thursday with high expectations.

Fans drove in from all over the region and some even from out-of-state. Many people at training camp say the team will end its 12-year playoff drought.

"We just decided to take a little ride and see what the Bills are all about this year. A lot of changes in the offseason and we wanted to check it out and see if they looked any good and yeah for a practice and the first one, not too bad," said John Kreuzer of Buffalo.

"We just got here. Looking forward to seeing Mario though. I'm ready to see something major," said James Jones, Rochester.

The Bills big free agent signing Mario Williams and first round pick Stephon Gilmore were big attractions Thursday.

After an offseason filled with promising free agent signings, the Bills are ready to put on the pads and get back to work.

The Bills hit the field today for the first official day of training camp at St. John Fisher College in Pittsford.

Players and staff began reporting there Tuesday.

Fans can finally get their first look at big-name additions like Mario Williams.

The Bills head into this season with a sense of excitement and optimism as they try to end the NFL's longest current playoff drought of 12 years.
