Ulrich's Tavern seized over taxes
BUFFALO, N.Y. — The state tax department has seized a popular Buffalo tavern and restaurant.
The New York State Department of Taxation and Finance says Ulrich's Tavern on Ellicott Street had seven outstanding warrants against it. Three warrants were for withholding taxes and the other four were related to sales tax.
The total of all seven outstanding warrants was more than $200,000.
Ulrich's Tavern will now have to work with the Tax Department to fix the situation.
