YNN reporter gets away to Erie County Fair

HAMBURG, N.Y. - The Erie County Fair in Hamburg continued Friday with hundreds of festival-goers getting their fill of food, fun and rides.
And, YNN's Getaway Guy, Mike O'Brian was at the fair autographing copies of his local best-seller for avid travel fans.
In his publication, O'Brian talks about 50 of his favorite road trip getaways throughout New York State.
Friday was his first experience at the Erie County Fair, and he says getting to meet the fans is the best part.
"People love the local getaways, and day trips are the way to go with gas prices going up a little bit now,” he said. “So, these are 50 getaways you can do in a day, and it won't cost you a ton of money."
The Erie County Fair runs through Sunday.
