JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — A new I Love Lucy mural has been started in downtown Jamestown, adding to the four other murals already created by a local artist.

Gary Peters Jr was commissioned by the Lucy-Desi Center in Jamestown to paint the 30 X 60 foot image on the side of the Mayflower Building.

It's a scene from the I Love Lucy episode California Here We Come." The painting includes Lucy, Ricky, Fred and Ethel and is the first color, Lucy-themed mural by Peters.

There is a live webcam link so you can watch the progress on the Lucy-Desi Center website. It is expected to be completed by mid-September.
