Just Pizza donates to Buffalo City Mission

BUFFALO, N.Y. — The Buffalo City Mission received a special delivery Wednesday from Just Pizza, but it wasn't covered in cheese and pepperoni.
With about two weeks to go before Thanksgiving, the pizzeria donated 100 twelve-pound turkeys.
This is the fifth year Just Pizza has teamed up with the City Mission. On Thanksgiving Day, the mission serves about 1,500 meals at its kitchen and home delivers more than 4,500 meals to Western New Yorkers.
"Thanksgiving is a great time for us to all think about how much we do have and to help the people that don't have much, so what anybody can do whether it's one turkey or a thousand turkeys, we'll be more than happy to receive them," said Stuart Harper, executive director of the Buffalo City Mission.
Harper says the mission needs 850 more turkeys to meet their goal.
