Burned puppy finds foster home
BUFFALO, N.Y. — We have an update to share on the four-month-old Jack Russell Terrier that is recovering from severe burns.
Phoenix has been placed in a foster home. The Buffalo Animal Shelter says he is doing well, and he's even made a friend as he recovers.
Phoenix has been hanging out with a cat named Burnie, who was rescued after a house fire.
Animal Shelter officials say Phoenix is eating and his new skin is beginning to grow on the healed areas.
The puppy was found on fire in a Buffalo yard a few weeks ago.
