Marijuana bust in Jamestown
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — Police have made another marijuana growing operation bust in the city of Jamestown after a tip from the BPU that the power supply to the home had been tampered with.
Police executed a search warrant for a home at 834 Lafayette Street 11:30 a.m. Tuesday. Investigators say they found more than 100 mature plants growing along with two pounds of dried marijuana, some cocaine, two guns and growing equipment.
Investigators later arrested 49-year-old Patrick Silk on a number of drug related charges and also endangering the welfare of a child. He is being held in the city jail where he is awaiting arraignment.
