BUFFALO, N.Y. — Two Buffalo police officers were hurt after they were attacked during a traffic stop.
Officers pulled a car over around 2 p.m. Saturday near Forest and Dewitt avenues when, according to police, the driver put his car in reverse, hitting a patrol car and then an officer.
An officer fired his gun at one point, possibly hitting the suspect's car.
Three suspects then fled the car but were caught a short time later.
The officers are being treated at ECMC with non-life-threatening injuries.
