Cheektowaga man shot on east side
BUFFALO, N.Y. — One person was injured in an overnight shooting that took place on the city's east side.
A man was shot just before 12 a.m. Monday on Eller Avenue near Heminway Street.
Police say a 21-year-old Cheektowaga man was shot in the stomach and was taken to ECMC. He's in serious condition.
The victim's name has not been released yet.
