BUFFALO, N.Y. – It was no holiday for Buffalo firefighters as they spent part of the morning fighting a vacant house fire on the city's east side. It started around 5 a.m. on Hagen Street.
Firefighters say the flames damaged the outside of the house but didn't spread inside. Damage is estimated around $20,000.
No word yet on a cause.
