Man seriously injured in DWI crash

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. -- A man was seriously injured after he was hit by a car in Niagara Falls Wednesday night. It happened around 6:30 p.m. on Niagara Falls Boulevard.

Police say John Watson, 58, of Niagara Falls was crossing the street when he was hit by a car driven by Mark Brown, 43, also of Niagara Falls. Brown and his car were later found on 87th Street.

Brown is charged with DWI, leaving the scene of a serious injury accident, and other charges.

Watson was taken to ECMC with serious internal injuries, head injuries, and a fractured leg. He's in stable condition.
