Accused puppy burner appears in court
BUFFALO, N.Y. - One of the teenagers accused of burning Phoenix the puppy was in court Friday.
City Court officials say 19-year-old Adell Zeigler had a felony hearing.
Zeigler is being held without bail and will be assigned a public defender.
Zeigler and 17-year-old Diondre Brown are accused of burning the four-month-old Jack Russell terrier last month.
Both are charged with aggravated cruelty to animals.
