Doctor faces drug charges
NIAGARA COUNTY, N.Y. — A Niagara County doctor is accused of possessing drug paraphernalia and crack cocaine.
According to the U.S. Attorney's Office, 27-year-old Christine Guilfoyle was pulled over for a traffic stop when officers found crack cocaine on her.
Guilfoyle told agents she purchased the drugs from 62-year-old Daniel Gillick, a doctor in Youngstown, and said the two were going to use the drugs that night.
Gillick is currently an ER doctor at Medina Memorial and Schuyler Hospital.
Both face misdemeanor charges of possession of crack cocaine and are due back in court later this week.
