Two Members of LeRoy Family Indicted Following Father's Day Incident
A grand jury in Genesee County has indicted two members of a LeRoy family following an incident on Father's Day.
Elaina Mead is charged with menacing of a police officer and assault, and Donald Mead Jr. is charged with assault and criminal possession of a weapon.
The Genesee County Sheriff's Office says the assault happened when deputies tried to arrest the couple's son, Michael Mead Sr., for violating an order of protection.
Elaina is accused of threatening a deputy with a knife. Donald Mead is accused of continuously slamming a door against a deputy.
