Voters approve Pioneer capital plan
YORKSHIRE, N.Y. — Voters in the Pioneer School District easily approved a capital project that will allow for renovations at several district buildings.
The $31 million capital project was approved by a four-to-one margin.
The project includes adding science and performing arts wings to the high school, third-floor renovations to Arcade Elementary School and other health and safety upgrades.
The project will be funded by state aid and district reserves.
