Elderly woman struck by pickup truck and killed
JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — An elderly woman is dead after she was hit by a pick up truck.
Police in Jamestown say 85-year-old Angeline Marucci was attempting to cross West Fourth Street in Jamestown on Friday morning when a the driver of a pick up truck struck her.
Marucci was taken to WCA Hospital, where she later died.
Police say the driver of the truck was approaching a green light at the time of the incident.
He has not been charged.
