TOWN OF BOSTON -- A Rochester man is in critical condition at ECMC, after he lost control of his pickup truck and slammed into a tree in the Town of Boston early Sunday morning.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office says 24-year-old Eric Suarez was driving on Feddick Road when he lost control of his truck shortly before 3 a.m.

Deputies say Suarez crossed the center line, went off the road and hit a tree.

He was taken by Mercy Flight to ECMC where he is listed in critical condition.

The crash remains under investigation and charges are pending.
