ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — Area students teamed up with the Bills for a little fun at the team's fieldhouse on Tuesday.

More than 300 elementary and middle school students took part in a fitness-themed party with some Bills players.

All of the children who took part completed October's Play 60 Challenge. This party, sponsored by The American Heart Association and the NFL, aimed to show kids the importance of physical activity.

"The players provide such a role model for the kids to see how professional athletes are able to incorporate that activity into their daily lives, how it's made them successful, how they are heart healthy and then hopefully the kids can take that and do the same throughout their lives, and we're building that foundation for kids to be healthy for their whole life," said Jennifer Pratt, American Heart Association.

The American Heart Association recommends that children get 60 minutes of physical activity per day.
