JAMESTOWN, N.Y. — The United Way of Southern Chautauqua County is looking for volunteers to help people prepare their tax returns.

The goal of the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program is to help lower income families with their tax prep. To make sure they get the most from their returns.

"And a lot of people, they tell us that they're planning to use their refunds to make a down payment on a home, maybe start a small business that they've been thinking about, put it into their children's college fund. So it is about making a better tomorrow for someone also," said Tory Irgang, United Way of Southern Chautauqua County.

You are asked to contact the United Way of Southern Chautauqua County if you are interested in volunteering.
