Car Crashes Into Metro Station
BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Delavan-Canisius College Metro Rail station is closed until further notice after a car crashed into the front of the building just before 4 Saturday morning.

NFTA officials say 33-year-old Roman Dunnigan was behind the wheel when he struck another car stopped at a red light at the corner of Main and Delavan.

Dunnigan's car then crashed into the curb, went airborne, and struck the Metro station.

He and a passenger were treated and released from ECMC.

Dunnigan faces charges of leaving the scene of a personal-injury accident, reckless driving, and other traffic violations.

The station remains closed as repairs are done.

A bus shuttle service will be provided to the Delavan Station from both the Humboldt Hospital and Utica Stations for the rest of the night.

The NFTA says they plan to re-open the station at 8 a.m. Sunday morning.
