Guilty plea in fatal bike path accident
AMHERST, N.Y. -- A Niagara Falls man has pleaded guilty to a violent crash in Amherst that killed two women.

The Erie County District Attorney said David Smith, 53, pleaded guilty to vehicular manslaughter, vehicular assault and DWI on Thursday.

Smith admitted to riding his motorcycle on November 11, 2012 when he veered off Tonawanda Creek Road and onto a bike path, before crashing into Sheila and Foster Pelton,
and Jocelyn Elberson.

Elberson and Sheila Pelton died from their injuries, while Foster Pelton was seriously injured.

Smith faces 15 years in prison when he's sentenced on March 14, 2013.
