LOCKPORT, N.Y. -- As the body of a young Tonawanda boy with a rare heart condition heals, a fundraiser Saturday helped heal the spirits of his family.

A benefit was held at Victory Christian Church for Nolan Pryzbysz, a 1-year-old who has a rare heart condition and had a transplant in December.

Family members say the money helps pay Nolan's medical bills and expenses at home, where both of his parents have been off work for six months to care for him. Saturday's turnout thrilled those involved.

"There's so much love in this room. I'm absolutely overwhelmed. Once we're back and we're working, I cannot wait to give back," said Nolan's mom, Laura Fisk.

Nolan gets out of a Pittsburgh hospital Monday and will begin two months of rehab. He can hopefully return home after that.
